Terms & Conditions

1. About Down Under Equine Hub

Down Under Equine Hub is an online directory that allows equine service providers and suppliers to list their businesses, and allows users to search for and contact those businesses.

We do not provide equine services ourselves, and we do not act as an agent, broker, or representative for any listed business.

2. Directory use only

Down Under Equine Hub is a directory only.

We do not:

  • assess the quality of services provided by listed businesses
  • verify qualifications, experience, or conduct of providers
  • endorse or recommend any service, product, or business listed on the platform

All listings are created, managed, and maintained by the business owners themselves.

3. User responsibility

Users engage with service providers listed on Down Under Equine Hub at their own risk.

It is the responsibility of users to:

  • make their own enquiries
  • assess suitability of a provider
  • confirm availability, pricing, and services directly with the provider

We encourage users to conduct their own due diligence before engaging any service.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Down Under Equine Hub is not responsible or liable for:

  • the conduct, behaviour, or actions of any listed business
  • the quality, outcome, or results of any service provided
  • injury, loss, damage, or harm to people, animals, or property
  • disputes, disagreements, or claims between users and service providers
  • financial loss, including loss of income or opportunity

Down Under Equine Hub is not a party to any agreement, contract, or arrangement between users and service providers.

5. Listings and content

Business owners are responsible for ensuring that information in their listings is accurate, current, and not misleading.

We reserve the right to:

  • review listings
  • request changes
  • edit, suspend, or remove listings that breach platform guidelines or are inappropriate

We are not obligated to monitor or verify listing content.

6. Accounts and subscriptions

Some features of Down Under Equine Hub require an account or paid subscription.

All listing plans operate on a recurring subscription basis. Subscription fees are billed in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.

The Basic listing includes a six (6) month complimentary trial period. At the conclusion of the trial period, the subscription will automatically convert to the applicable monthly subscription fee (currently $9.99 per month) unless cancelled before renewal.

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via the account dashboard. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled through the account dashboard. Changes to subscription plans are prorated and applied immediately.

No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing cycle. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion where required under Australian Consumer Law.

If a recurring payment fails, we may attempt to reprocess the payment using the original payment method in accordance with WooCommerce’s failed payment retry system. Continued failure to process payment may result in suspension or removal of the listing until payment is successfully processed.

Expired or unpaid subscriptions may result in listings being hidden or deactivated.

7. Free Trial Terms

The Basic Listing includes a limited six (6) month free trial available to new listings only, for a limited time.

If a listing is upgraded to a paid plan during the trial period, the free trial will end immediately and paid billing will begin.

The free trial cannot be reinstated if a subscription is later downgraded, cancelled, or reactivated.

Down Under Equine Hub reserves the right to modify or discontinue the free trial offer at any time.

8. Platform availability

We aim to keep the platform available and functioning smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We are not responsible for:

  • technical issues
  • temporary outages
  • loss of data due to system failure or third-party services

9. Changes to the platform

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the platform at any time.

This includes:

  • features
  • pricing
  • listing options
  • subscription structures

Where possible, we will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

10. Privacy

Use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using Down Under Equine Hub, you consent to the collection and use of personal information as outlined in that policy.

11. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Down Under Equine Hub, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the platform.
